Watch out, here it comes. Our government is becoming bold enough to step right out and begin to control every single piece of information that reaches you. Pay attention and listen for the phrase “reinvent journalism” brought to you by an “independent”agency, the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). All that is necessary is that you under stand that phrase is code words for tight and oppressive control of all news sources that you are able to access, especially the internet. Primarily through taxation. This does NOT bode well for freedom of speech, and certainly does not comply with journalism as described in all resources up until now. The work of gathering news for, or producing, a newspaper or other news outlet is about to be expanded to include total government control. The following is an excerpt from the Washington Times and is well worth your attention:

“The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is seeking ways to “reinvent” journalism, and that’s a cause for concern. According to a May 24 draft proposal, the agency thinks government should be at the center of a media overhaul. The bureaucracy sees it as a problem that the Internet has introduced a wealth of information options to consumers, forcing media companies to adapt and experiment to meet changing market needs. FTC’s policy staff fears this new reality.”

The freedom of information that flows on the internet is their primary target. Controls include taxing those outlets you how have access to, quite possibly leading to their elimination, including this blog you are reading now. Taxes could be distributed to those “media owned and controlled” journalists we are dealing with in the press who refuse to bring us the “real” news.

Our Marxist government is scrambling as quickly as possible to get many oppressive rules and regulations in place before our November election. Stay vigilant to all of it.
