The world had better be prepared for a severe tragedy that is in the making! Iran, the nation that advocates the destruction of Israel, has sent its own ships, to “run” the Israeli blockade of Gaza! These so-called “humanitarian” relief vessels are quite probably carrying more than food and medicine to the Palestinians in Gaza! There can be absolutely no misunderstanding of Iranian intentions here, it is intended to be provocative, and it certainly will be just that!
There is the possibility that these Iranian vessels are “clean” of any weapons, or war supplies! That certainly would be the “smart” thing for the Iranians to do, at least with these initial vessels; but when in past memory, have the Iranians elected to do the smart thing? Their intentions are to violently confront any Israeli effort to stop and search them!
I do not believe that the Israeli’s are about to allow those Iranian ships past the blockade, without a challenge! Hey Obama, here is another crisis for you to exploit! Our President has quite obviously shown his preferences, and, while insulting our Israeli allies, he has thrown his lot in with the Palestinians! Exactly what you might expect from a Kenyan Muslim!
Israel is capable of defending itself, but I am not sure how long it may endure without the support of the United States, and as it appears now, that support will not be forthcoming! So, there is quite a real possibility that war may erupt in that part of the world! Pay attention Obama, you may have yet another energy crises to help you to foist your destructive energy agenda upon the citizens of the United States!
If Iran is attacked, whether by Israel, or the United States, it is almost a given that it will then move to shut down the Straight of Hormuz! If it succeeds in doing that, and with no opposition from Obama, it quite possibly will succeed; the global economy, which is already in deep depression, will face a new crisis, oil! Almost every industrialized nation relies upon oil, as the life’s blood of its economy, and shutting down Hormuz, will effectively stop the flow of that critically needed commodity, and wreak havoc! The United States Navy is more than adequately equipped to keep Hormuz open, but I seriously doubt that Obama will commit to doing that! We need to watch carefully, as this unfolds!
