NO, Senator McCain, NO

This came to us in an email from Nancy B. in Arizona.  Nancy hit the nail on the head with this one.

“Today, August 25, John McCain had a Town Hall meeting in Sun City, AZ. A woman stated that she wanted no part of a “compromise” on the health care bill, to which he responded by saying we can’t just do nothing. That really got my Irish up, so I dropped him a line.”

Dear Senator McCain,

I beg to differ with you….to do nothing on the health care reform issue is exactly what needs to be done by EVERY SINGLE REPUBLICAN REPRESENTATIVE, both house and senate! We need to let the Democrats OWN THIS ISSUE ALL BY THEMSELVES, Republicans need not apply, so when it comes time to vote in 2010 there will be an outcry against them alone on the issue, and a 180 degree turn around in the elections.

I guarantee to you, that if you find it necessary to conjure up another “gang of 15 or 16″ and march across the aisle as is your style, you will lose your bid to return to the Senate. We are tired of your kind of “bipartisanship” There are enough of us that will see to it that you will be defeated.

This country is under siege by radicals who have embedded themselves in the administration and both houses, and they are unstoppable……until November 2010. Please don’t muddy the waters with any Republican participation in this giant power grab, masquerading as a “Health Care Bill”.

Nancy B,
Mesa, AZ

Sadly, this is what passes for “Leadership” in the Republican Party. Something has happened to politics in America; something bad. Creating a Socialist state in our Republic is like boiling a frog… Just one degree at a time and the frog just sits there until the water boils.

Socialism is ever so slowly creeping up on us, little by little. Taxes have already gone through the roof, little by little. Do a little research on how much of your income goes to pay some form of tax.

Why are taxes important for Socialism? That is how the government will redistribute wealth among the citizens. Tax money gives them the ability to impose Socialism.
